Hugh Jackman is on a hunt through the past in the trailer for his latest film Reminiscence, also starring Thandie Newton and Rebecca Ferguson.
It’s been a while since we’ve seen Hugh Jackman on the big screen, with his excellent turn in Bad Education going straight to Sky last year, it’s not been since 2019’s The Front Runner. He’s back now in what looks to be a big, mind-bending sci-fi blockbuster for the summer. Reminiscence sees him playing a scientist obsessed with finding a lost love, played by his The Greatest Showman co-star Rebecca Ferguson.
Written and directed by Lisa Joy in her debut feature, not too much is known about the film, or given away in the trailer, but it looks to be an epic mystery, teeming with love and danger, with some hints of film noir in there for good measure? The short synopsis we do know –
A scientist discovers a way to relive your past and uses the technology to search for his long lost love.
