Liam Neeson takes on the weather in his latest action role: here’s the trailer for The Ice Road.
Liam Neeson has hinted a few times of late that the action star stage of his career may soon be coming to an end. In the meantime though, the veteran actor continues to commit to the type of heavy-hitting role that he has often frequented throughout the later stage of his work. That looks set to continue with the trailer for The Ice Road, a typical Neeson action thriller coming to Netflix on June 25th. Laurence Fishburne also stars alongside him.
After finishing shooting early last year, the film was picked up for distribution by Netflix for $18m. Whilst it’s being reported that the film will get a theatrical release in some territories, that doesn’t seem to be the case in the US or here in the UK.
Despite signalling that his time as an action paragon may soon be up, Neeson shows no signs of slowing down, having several more action films on his upcoming slate, including Blacklight and Retribution.
