The Woman In The Window trailer

A new trailer for The Woman In The Window starring Amy Adams has been released by Netflix. The long-awaited adaptation of the 2018 novel of the same name is just over a month away, finding its home at Netflix after being caught up in the Disney acquisition of Fox. The synopsis for it reads as follows: ‘Confined by her agoraphobia, Anna Fox finds herself keeping tabs on the new family across the street through the windows of her NYC home. After witnessing a brutal crime, secrets begin to unravel and nothing and no one are what they seem.’ Amy Adams stars, Joe Wright directs, and the trailer is as follows… The film has been highly anticipated but has had a marred release. Originally due in October 2019 it went back into post-production after negative test screenings. Its rescheduled release date of May 2020 was then disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic and eventually the film was sold to Netflix, now scheduled for release on the 14th May 2021. Joining Adams in the film are Gary Oldman, Anthony Mackie, Wyatt Russell, and Julianne Moore.
