Eddie Izzard stars and makes her screenwriting debut with Six Minutes To Midnight – and here’s the first trailer for the movie. It’s a film we’re talking about in the new issue of our magazine – which comes complete with a big exclusive Eddie Izzard interview – and now Six Minutes To Midnight is edging closer to its UK release. Sky Cinema will be debuting the movie on March 26^th, and it’s released a brand new trailer for the film. Andy Goddard directs, working from a script by Goddard, Izzard and Celyn Jones. Izzard herself takes the lead role, in an ensemble alongside Dame Judi Dench, Jim Broadbent, James D’Arcy, Celyn Jones and Carla Juri. The Augusta Victoria College, a finishing school for daughters and goddaughters of the Nazi elite on the south-coast of England, is under close scrutiny after the mysterious disappearance of their teacher Mr Wheatley. The school governess, Miss Rocholl (Judi Dench), hires English teacher Thomas Miller (Eddie Izzard) to replace Wheatley and help prepare the girls for the Anglo-German fellowship. Thomas slowly raises the suspicions of Ilse Keller (Carla Juri), the girls’ German tutor, who has secrets of her own. Caught in the crossfires, Thomas is framed for murder and goes on the run to clear his name and uncover Ilse’s true plan for the girls.
