A rare sojourn away from the world of movies for us for a minute, but we wanted to give a shout-out to the brilliant The National Museum Of Computing, that’s one of many organisations struggling during times of lockdown.
It’s nonetheless put together a slightly different way to keep kids (of all ages) occupied during half term week, with a BBC Microlympics, five days of gaming competitions to celebrate the 40th birthday of the BBC Micro.
On each day, a different challenge is running for a different game on the faithful old BBC machine, which you’ll be able to play via an online emulator. You need to book your place in advance, and there are prizes to be won too.
