Several Buffy stars have taken to social media to condemn Joss Whedon’s behaviour, adding to Ray Fisher’s claims about behaviour on the set of Justice League.
Up until this point, Ray Fisher has been ploughing something of a lone furrow in his battle to bring Joss Whedon and others to account for what he alleges was ‘gross and abusive’ behaviour on the set of 2017’s Justice League.
Whilst some co-stars such as Jason Momoa have occasionally Tweeted support, others have remained silent, and apart from an oblique reference to ‘remedial action’ having ‘been taken’, there’s been little sign from WarnerMedia of any further action.
Now though, support for Fisher has been forthcoming, with the last 18 hours or so seeing several members of the beloved Buffy the Vampire Slayer cast taking to social media to also speak out against Whedon.
The first came from from Buffy actor Charisma Carpenter. In a long post which you can read below, she accused Whedon of being ‘the real vampire’ in the show, alleging bullying and abusive behaviour.
Neither Whedon nor his representatives have responded to the claims, but the growing swell of voices isn’t going away. Quite the opposite. Whether other voices come forward now remains to be seen, but for Fisher at least, there is most likely a sense of vindication, following a difficult battle that he has been waging largely by himself.

Carpenter was later joined by Buffy co-stars Amber Benson and Sarah Michelle Gellar, who posted support and solidarity for her. Benson Tweeted: ‘Buffy was a toxic environment and it starts at the top. @AllCharisma is speaking truth and I support her 100%. There was a lot of damage done during that time and many of us are still processing it twenty plus years later’. Gellar tweeted her support on Instagram, stating:
