In the second half of the 1980s, the thriller became a bit of a goldmine for Hollywood studios again. Not least thrillers aimed at a more mature audience, as the likes of
Fatal Attraction and
Jagged Edge had proven.
Up then stepped Ridley Scott in the midst of this purple patch for the underseen
Someone To Watch Over Me. Starring Tom Berenger, Mimi Rogers and Lorraine Bracco, I confess I’ve not see this one for a long time, but I remember thinking it was underrated when I did originally catch it.
Now, the movie is coming to Blu-ray for the first time in the UK, courtesy of Powerhouse Films. It’s a limited edition release, and one not short of extra features. This little lot, in fact…
