This makes a lot of sense in terms of timings. Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull was released back in 2008, which means 14 years will elapsed by the time we get to the events of Indy 5. With Crystal Skull being set in 1957, that would actually take us into the early 1970s, but whoās counting, right? Certainly not star Harrison Ford who will be 80 by the time he cracks the bullwhip on the big screen again. Frankly, we donāt care where the film starts (although New York in the 1960s could see The NY Worldās Fair, Woodstock or even Beatlemania make appearances,) as long as when Indy begins globe-trotting, we get to see the map with the travelling red line. As a youngster, that taught an entire generation more about geography than actual geography lessons which were usually rendered inferior by an unfortunate absence of Harrison Ford. The as-yet untitled Indiana Jones 5 is set to release in July 2022. ā Thank you for visiting! That's it. That's my tweet.
(Note ā I'm mentally living in 60's NYC right now cause that's where all the movies I'm working on take place.)
